BrainSailing's Exploring Your Personal Strengths seminar provides an opportunity for delegates to reflect on the strengths (and their own perceptions of weaknesses) they bring to their working life; and on the idea that it is the person, not just a person’s job title, that makes a difference. The seminar invites you to re-appraise the skills you bring to the workplace (thinking outside the job description) and offers suggestions for developing flexible approaches to team working, time management, problem solving and memory skills.
We designed this seminar to meet the needs of a university under-going major reorganisation/culture change, with departments merging and staff perhaps having to re-apply for their own jobs in competition with others. The university wanted to help individuals develop confidence and learn to recognise their own strengths and competencies that perhaps they might not be aware of.
